The company has been rolling out various exciting promotions and services over the past few months, including seven new services, a refreshed logo, and slogan. BSNL’s chairman has assured that the company is focusing on infrastructure upgrades to support its growing user base and has confirmed that there will be no price hikes in the near future.
New Extra Data Offer on the 84-Day Plan
BSNL recently unveiled a special promotion for its Rs 599, 84-day prepaid plan, which offers 3GB of daily data, 100 free SMS per day, unlimited calling, and free national roaming. The new promotion adds an extra 3GB of daily data, bringing the total daily data allowance to 6GB. To avail of this offer, users can recharge via BSNL’s self-care app, which also gives access to value-added services such as Zing, PRBT, Astrotell, and GameOnService.
BSNL’s Affordable 300-Day Plan
In addition to the 84-day plan, BSNL provides an affordable long-term option with its Rs 797 plan, offering a 300-day validity. This plan includes unlimited voice calls, 2GB of high-speed data per day, and 100 free SMS per day for the first 60 days. After 60 days, users will need to recharge to continue outgoing calls, but the long validity remains intact.
Launch of Direct-to-Device Satellite Connectivity
BSNL has also launched India’s first Direct-to-Device satellite connectivity service, in collaboration with the Department of Telecommunications (DoT). This service, announced at the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC) 2024, is a game-changer as it marks the first time satellite connectivity is available to the public in India. Unlike previous satellite technologies limited to emergency and military use, this service will provide seamless connectivity even in remote regions, positioning BSNL at the forefront of telecom innovation in India.
